I love your room! It is so unique and totally you (not that I know you:) I like your homey bookshelf. What's on the bottom of your chairs? I'm always looking for a solution to the chair scuffs and screeching. Last year I bought a ton of little chair sticky felt things which was a lot of $. I'm so curious how you did that?
What a nice room!! I love the set up of your tables and it looks like a great solution for my room. I've been struggling with my table set up since I received my Promethean board. I'm with you on being neat and orderly...can't function if things are out of place too much. Have a great year!
You have a beautiful and well-organized classroom! As another OCD personality type, I can relate to the constant need for order! I think, in the long run, it helps the students as well, though. I also love the cozy bookshelf corner.
So clean and organized! Come make my room look that nice!
ReplyDeletelooking good! i love starting out orderly, knowing just how fast things get a little chaotic. enjoy it while it lasts... *sigh*
ReplyDeleteHope, my room actually looks like this all year. I am a bit OCD and order & cleanliness is a big part of it!! :)

ReplyDeleteI LOVE you classroom design! What is on the bottom of your chairs? I use tennis balls now, and they are about to get on my last nerve!!
ReplyDeleteSpongeBobLover...it is felt tied on with rubberbands! I'm going to do a post later in the week on it..because a lot of people have been asking.
ReplyDeleteOMGosh I love your classroom. You are so creative with all of your bulletin boards and borders. Very inspiring!
ReplyDeleteAre those tennis balls on the bottom of the chairs?
ReplyDeleteKim, I use felt on the bottom of my chairs. It is doubled over and rubber banded on. Works like a dream.
ReplyDeleteI tried the rubber bands and felt. they keep falling off... is there a trick?
ReplyDelete@ Anonymous ... I double the felt over...and use the very thick rubber bands. I usually triple the rubberbands when wrapping them around the leg.
